Carey Executive Limousine works with Verus Carbon Neutral to offset Carbon Footprint
ATLANTA (March 16, 2009)— Carey Executive Limousine advanced its corporate social responsibility in supporting the environment by offsetting its entire fleet with a Georgia forestry project through Verus Carbon Neutral. “Our goal is to reduce our carbon footprint,” said Carey CEO, Mike Dangerfield. “Our fleet becoming Carbon Neutral is a good first step. We are looking closely at our entire operation to
find additional ways to reduce emissions.”

A Georgia forestry project, managed by Valley Wood Timber, was selected by Carey Executive Limousine to offset their carbon footprint. The project protects over 60,000 acres of forest and proceeds support the Humane Society.
Verus Carbon Neutral is a member of the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX), the world’s first and North America’s only active, voluntary and legally binding offset trading system.
